Industrial Electrician

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a company based in Baytown, TX. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all applicable electrical systems within the designated area. Must be able to troubleshoot, interpret, diagnose, and implement any situations with regard to electrical and controlling systems. Additionally, this role oversees compliance by performing routine inspections in accordance to the company's safety practices.

Pay Rate

32.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 to 3 : 30pm.

Industrial Electrician Duties and Responsibilities

Prioritize tasks based on importance
Install, maintain, repair electrical systems and components, including bending conduit, wiring, lighting, and control systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues implementing effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes / regulations.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems.
Create material lists for jobs and projects.
Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budgets.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Provide excellent customer service communicating effectively with clients.

Industrial Electrician Qualifications and Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician’s license.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician.

Detail oriented with strong analytical skills (affinity for numbers).

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiar with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word).

Have the patience to work under pressure.

Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
