LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Laboratory Technician within the Quality department for a pharmaceutical company based in Huntsville, AL . A Laboratory Technician maintains the readiness of the laboratory by supporting day-to-day support functions in Quality Control .
Pay Rate
18 .00 -$2 0 .00 per hour based on experience
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Laboratory Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling and disposal of chemical and biohazardous waste
- Responsible for coordinating with management, calibration, and maintenance departments as well as off-site vendors as needed for equipment repairs and calibrations
- Perform daily calibrations and maintenance on analytical equipment, such as analytical balances, pH meters, density meters, etc.
- Prepare rudimentary test solutions and microbiological media.
- Multitask projects while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Maintain a current laboratory inventory by rotation of reagent stock based on product expiration.
