Maintenance Tech nician
Automation Personnel We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in Ball Ground, GA, specializing in marine wall structures. You will perform preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment , hydraulic systems, and basic PLC components . If you have maintenance experience with great attention to detail, time management, and are committed to quality work in a hands-on role, we’d love to hear from you!
Pay Rate
Starting at $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm.
Training will be on 1st shift for 6 to 8 weeks, from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Occasional overtime during the week and up to 5 hours Saturdays may be required.
Maintenance Tech nician Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all maintenance-related functions and welding on plant operational and manufacturing equipment.
- Lead by example and enforce all safety rules, working in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in all assigned areas.
- Perform both scheduled and unscheduled repairs, inspections, and improvements.
- Manage time and work orders using the maintenance system.
- Ensure maintenance documentation and tracking are completed on time and correctly.
- Maintain communication for shift-to-shift continuity.
- Perform PM’s, capital projects, and repair projects based on production priority.
- Inventory and request necessary supplies.
- Additional job duties as assigned by management
