WAREHOUSE ORDER SELECTOR

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Warehouse Order Selectors with leadership skills for a company based in Plant City, FL. In this job, you will have the opportunity to work for a leading producer of fresh produce.

Pay Rate

15.00 per hour.

Schedule and Hours

Monday to Saturday from 2 : 00 PM – 12 : 30 AM overtime required as needed.

Warehouse Order Selector Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize pick lists and handheld scanners to accurately select and assemble customer orders based on product specifications and quantity requirements.
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts to transport and maneuver pallets of produce.
  • Inspect and verify products for quality, freshness, and accuracy before packing and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals and maintain efficient workflow.

Warehouse Order Selector Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Previous experience as a warehouse order selector or similar role in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the food or produce industry.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Proficiency in using handheld scanners.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in product selection and order fulfillment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
