PLANT MANAGER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Plant Manager for a company based in Fayette , AL . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient management of resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, inventory control, training, and leading people, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Pay Rate
115,000 annual salary
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Plant Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Direct supervision of 10-15 department managers and indirect supervision of 150-200 employees .
- Maintain inventory control for whole goods and parts .
- Work with the Engineering and Research and Development departments in product development .
- Update any changes to Bill of Materials (BOMs) and maintain current UPCs as necessary .
- Oversee all receiving activities.
- Frequent inspections of petroleum materials and paint for safety and ordering purposes .
- Work with the Safety Manager to retrieve and submit required information to the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) .
