Relocation Note: Currently located in Pell City, AL, ARC will be relocating to a new facility in Childersburg, AL, starting in early 2025.
Job Overview:
ARC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team! This role involves overseeing project execution and working closely with upper management to provide regular updates on timelines, project progress, expectations, challenges, and forecasts. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership in continuous improvement, uphold ARC standards, and ensure quality practices are implemented throughout project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project progress from initiation to completion, in alignment with the Project Procedure.
- Maintain and update AppSheets entries related to scheduling, timelines, and project management.
- Assign and delegate new tasks effectively to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide regular updates to the VP, including project status, deadlines, expectations, challenges, forecasts, and other insights to support branch growth.
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
- Attend all installations to oversee execution and ensure onsite quality.
- Lead post-project meetings and review project P&L reports.
- Provide feedback and drive continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure purchased solutions are implemented and function as intended.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field (e.g., Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls and Automation) or 5 years of relevant project management experience is required.
- Mechanical and electrical experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service abilities along with verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and align actions with company goals.
- Capable of moderate physical activity, including equipment assembly and commissioning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for preparing reports and logs.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Gantt charts, timelines, and forecasting tools is strongly preferred.
- Must pass background check and drug test as a condition of employment.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Ability to use hand tools, electrical meters, and measurement tools.
- Must lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
