Tri-Cities Community Health Center is looking for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team! The Pharmacy Technician is often the first representative of pharmacy to our patients and plays a key role in ensuring our patients have a positive experience. In this role, they must provide the highest level of customer service, actively working to help the patient in a warm, helpful, and empathetic manner. The Pharmacy Technician is also accountable for important administrative, prescription filling, cashiering and clerical functions to support the pharmacy team, optimize the patients visit quality, and keep patient records accurate and current.
Shift: Full Time Monday through Friday 9:45AM to 6:15PM
Location: Primarily Kennewick, may float on occasion between other Tri-Cities locations based on need.

Requirements
Education: HS Diploma/GED required.
Experience: 1-year experience in a pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or 2 years as a Pharmacy Assistant preferred.
License/Credential: Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician certification in good standing. National Certification preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills preferred. Working knowledge of pharmacy workflows and dispensing procedures. Ability to work varied shifts and float to other locations as needed; Ability to occasionally work late to accommodate patient needs.

Responsibilities
- Accurately rings out patients, ensuring counseling called for when appropriate.
- Consistently maintains patient data base.
- Perform scheduled maintenance.
- Perform prescription inputting, billing and rebilling process.
- Efficiently maintains medication stock.
- Accurately maintains register and cash box cash amounts.
- Brings any out of ordinary issues to pharmacists or pharmacy managers attention as appropriate.
- May on occasion perform delivery of medications to patient's home.
