Description
The Regional Operations Manager oversees and manages all functions and employees within the West Texas region. The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, as well providing functional excellence support for multiple locations. This position will ensure efficiency of all local teams including the Sales, Inside Sales and Warehouse teams through the optimization of resources and processes while achieving key safety, quality, cost, and engagement performance. The Operations Manager role will drive the operation, development, and implementation of key processes to ensure compliance within company policies and procedures. By using continual process improvement tools, this role will lead employee initiatives to create and promote an environment where team members are involved, empowered, and committed to the success of the company.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages local Sales, Inside Sales and Warehouse staff to ensure timely distribution of merchandise within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, and quality to satisfy the requirements of the customers, sales team and finance department.
- Effectively leads the team by creating a common vision and an understanding of the organization’s strategy, as well as enhancing associate commitment through the celebration of individual and group achievements.
- Ensures the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, equipment and products in a profitable manner. Plans, directs, and implements local operations and administrative support to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Operates in compliance with federal, state and local statutes.
- Directs the operations of the regional team to achieve prescribed objectives. Applies sound communication and motivational techniques, creates programs to supervise, counsel and discipline subordinates.
- Develops and recommends an annual operating budget. Develops and manages a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue and profit parameters. Assures that all ?????accounts achieve predetermined profit standards.
- Procures equipment and facilities required to ensure efficient operation and meet company profit goals. Develops suitable programs for maintaining company standards of sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, and safety.

Requirements
?Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University Required
- Minimum 5 years of operations experience
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Oil and Gas experience a plus
- NetSuite or similar Lean deployment experience
- Experience managing challenges with existing systems and creating and implementing new processes and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of the material handling equipment options for distribution and optimization of the life and use of the equipment.
- In depth knowledge of the various storage medium and configurations, as well as slotting and consolidation tools and operations, in order to maximize distribution location footprint.
- In depth knowledge of process flow and value stream mapping to drive optimization of people, tools, and resources.
- An understanding of logistics and carrier performance to drive improvements in service to our customers and overall freight spend.
- Financial planning and forecasting skills, for budget oversight and to project results of improvement or risk in operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a multi-functional and organization.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
This position is based in a professional office and warehouse environment and will include regional travel.
Travel Required
The Regional Operations Manager will be expected to travel regionally between locations on an ongoing basis.
