Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow accounts across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota
- Focus mostly on existing clients while staying sharp on finding new ones
- Handle everything from quotes to follow-ups and order tracking
- Serve as a trusted partner to engineers and procurement teams
- Regularly visit customer sites—mostly metro, with some rural travel
- Use CRM, ERP, and LinkedIn to keep things organized and moving
- Work closely with internal engineering and production teams to deliver what the client needs
- Plan travel routes for maximum face time and business development impact
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude. A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering will be a plus.
- 3–10 years of experience in B2B industrial or technical sales (preferably machine parts, and/or automated machines).
- Background in selling to manufacturing companies or automated machine builders
- Experience creating quotes and using ERP/CRM systems
- A well-organized mindset and proactive approach to account planning
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout your territory
- A curious mindset and a knack for solving problems on the fly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
