This is a great opportunity for someone who can be very customer-facing and has a technical background. You should have the ability to solve automation machinery applications and work on proposals for automated systems. Ideally you would have a mechanical engineering background but it’s not a requirement depending on your skill set. You must be able to use 3D design software, SolidWorks is ideal, but our client is willing to train if you have other applicable design software experience. The modeling would consist of developing layouts, concepts, etc. to present with project proposals.
This is a hybrid position, but you would report to their facility in the Lexington area on a regular basis for group meetings, brainstorming, etc.
Must have skills and experience :
- at least 5 years of experience in application engineering, automation sales or similar.
- Design experience with 3D design software like SolidWorks or similar is required.
- Modeling experience including developing layouts, concepts to present with project proposals.
