Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to join our team. As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs. Your expertise in compensation analysis and market research will ensure that our compensation strategies remain competitive and align with organizational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Compensation Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Market Research: Research industry salary trends, benchmarks, and best practices to inform compensation strategies.
- Job Evaluation: Evaluate and maintain job descriptions and classifications, ensuring accurate and equitable pay structures.
- Salary Surveys: Participate in salary surveys and analyze survey data to make informed compensation recommendations.
- Compensation Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of compensation planning and budgeting processes.
- Benefit Programs: Collaborate with HR and benefits teams to design and administer employee benefit programs.
- Compensation Communication: Prepare and distribute communication materials related to compensation and benefits changes.
- Payroll Support: Provide support to the payroll department by ensuring accurate processing of compensation-related transactions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Data Analysis: Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Performance Reviews: Assist in the administration of performance review processes, including merit increases and incentive programs.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special compensation-related projects as needed.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCP, PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.

- Compensation Analysis: Proficiency in conducting compensation analysis, market research, and benchmarking.
- Market Research: Strong research skills to stay informed about industry compensation trends and best practices.
- Job Evaluation: Experience in job evaluation and classification methodologies.
- Salary Surveys: Familiarity with participating in salary surveys and interpreting survey data.
- Data Analysis: Strong data analysis skills, including the use of spreadsheet software.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills for explaining compensation and benefits changes to employees.
- Compliance: Knowledge of compensation-related laws and regulations, including FLSA and Equal Pay Act.
- Payroll Support: Ability to collaborate effectively with payroll departments and ensure accurate processing.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail in maintaining compensation and benefits records.
- Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving abilities to address compensation-related challenges.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with HR and benefits teams.

Physical Demands
