Summary
The Delivery Lead/SCRUM Master, plays a key role within the Information Technology department and will be responsible for the management of Product Team initiatives and their success. The role will serve as the primary communications liaison between IT and stakeholders. They are responsible for providing the product development team with prioritized list of initiatives and communicating progress toward delivery goals and removing barriers to progress.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between stakeholders and the technical team. Collaborating with cross functional teams ensuring stakeholder requests are clearly defined, align to organizational goals and vision and maintain transparent progress tracking tools. This role will play a crucial role in the entire product lifecycle, working closely with Subject Matter Experts, Architects, Analysts, Developers, Product Managers and key stakeholders to define project scope and requirements in terms of features and capabilities. Track and communicate business value/business readiness and map that against development/product milestones
This role ensures that all product initiatives align with the company’s strategic vision, meet market needs, and deliver value to our dealer customers, agents, and field sales teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Product Management
- Understand and document business strategy
- Own the product team roadmap and execute the overall delivery strategy.
- Overseeing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and issues to ensure smooth execution and progress towards goals
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes.
- Ensure teams remain productive, removing roadblocks, and fostering collaboration.
- Encourage a culture of ownership, accountability, and innovation.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as a primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress and delivery status.
Resource & Capacity Management
- Monitoring allocation of resources efficiently and managing workloads across teams.
- Identifying skill gaps and working with leadership to address hiring or training needs.
- Ensuring teams have the right tools, knowledge, and environment to succeed.
Quality & Performance Management
- Implementing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for project/product success.
- Ensure quality assurance and testing practices are integrated into the delivery lifecycle.
- Drive process improvements based on retrospectives and feedback.
Budget & Financial Oversight
- Assist in managing project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reporting.
- Ensure cost efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive action throughout the organization to get products to market.
- Plan and own product launches, feature releases to include owning the business case for product impact and benefit.
- Provide product insights to stakeholders on the product and market needs
- Write highest-level requirements for Product Management Team Grooming
- Manage all aspects of the in-life product from concept-to-launch, to include customer feedback, requirements, and issue resolution.
- Serve as a scrum master as needed throughout the development life cycle.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product and or project management, with at least 5 years within a digital solutions-based company. Proven record of accomplishment of successfully managing and scaling complex product portfolios.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and behavior in the SaaS space. Experience leveraging customer insights to drive product development and enhance user experience. Familiarity with research data analysis/administration is a plus.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and digital technology product management tools and software.
- Certified Scrum Master or similar certification a plus.
- Automotive F&I experience a plus.
- Proven enterprise program management experience and discipline in complex situations.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Demonstrated success in fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated skill in managing matrixed teams focused on large complex initiatives.
- Expert understanding of business structures, interrelationships, and sensitivity analyses.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods of the day. Occasional travel, including overnight, will be required, up to 40%.
