Summary
The Product Forms Analyst will assist and support the Compliance Department to: (1) develop and create contracts, such as vehicle service contracts and guaranteed asset protection waivers, and to revise and proofread such contracts as necessary to refresh products or to ensure compliance with state laws and lender minimum business requirements; and (2) prepare forms filings for regulatory review by various state Department of Insurances and lenders and secure, manage and maintain necessary approvals. The individual in this role will also provide support and assistance for all team members in the completion of projects and assignments as necessary to meet demanding deadlines
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create forms such as vehicle service contracts and guaranteed asset protection waivers
- Proofread, revise and prepare forms for filing, print and use by the sales force
- Update and maintain state-specific language library and forms library
- Update and maintain cancellation and transfer rules for forms
- Map and upload forms into system for e-contracting and help resolve any issues regarding form mapping
- Timely prepare, file and maintain all product form filings and approvals to ensure compliance with state laws and lender minimum business rules
- Support and assist Compliance team members with projects and assignments as needed
Education and Experience
- Associates Degree or Paralegal coursework and/or certification; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with or knowledge of automobile dealership F&I process and/or products
- Previous work experience engaged in contract drafting, legal/compliance, legal research and statutory/regulatory review
Skills
- Working knowledge of automobile service contract and ancillary finance and insurance product laws and regulations preferred
- Ability to interpret regulations and laws
- Positive, flexible, and highly organized with the ability to prioritize work and meet challenging deadlines
- Must demonstrate extreme attention to detail
- Work well under pressure and have the ability to pivot quickly from project to project
- Have good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team framework
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods of the day. The employee must be able to sit for long periods of time.
