Director of Operations is a key leadership role that will be responsible for managing Southern California operations, managing expansion of AAG throughout multiple SoCal markets, execute/oversee the day-to-day operation of the company, and ensure teams meet required performance and goals. Including: Setting up multiple locations, managing operations, hiring, building and managing the various teams, representing the company with the CNCDA Foundation and other automotive and community organizations, and ensuring the company's financial performance and growth meets expectations. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, implement, and direct the organization’s operational model in various markets throughout Southern CA..
  • Managing and coordinating staff efforts to ensure goals are performance standards are achieved.
  • Manage the performance of the organization to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand apprenticeship throughout the state.
  • Collaborate with the CNCDA to create awareness for the apprenticeship program.
  • Create, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the company.
  • Manages and directs the company toward its primary goals and objectives.
  • Develop a culture of communication and cooperation among divisions to create a cohesive organization.

Attributes we value for this role:

  • Previous experience effectively leading and managing staff. Automotive Industry experience is a plus.
  • An ambitious, self-motivated and articulate leader that can effectively build and develop effective teams, help establish relationships with new car dealerships from the top decision makers all the way to the service teams, connect and partner with automotive and community organizations.
  • Leaders and collaborators – Our model requires top level communication from the field, dealer employers, apprentices, and support HQ.
  • AAG strives to offer a connected and communicative workplace across the U.S. we are looking for an individual who can self-manage KPI and other metrics related to the business development.
  • Previous automotive industry experience greatly valued.

Position Qualities:

  • Positive outlook, detail oriented, organized, leader, and self-motivated
  • Collaborates and communicates well with others
  • Comes from an Automotive, B2B or customer relationship environment
  • Ability to prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations
  • Proven track record in meeting KPI’s
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to multitask and work on your own initiative
  • Must have a proactive attitude, a motivation and desire to succeed.
  • Ability to effectively overcome objections
  • Reliable personal vehicle with insurance. (Reimbursement for mileage is included with benefits package) and capable of passing a background and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 per year
