Field Service Technician

Service Professional Needed

Are you mechanically inclined with the drive to learn and become a certified field service technician in the automotive equipment world? If you are, we need you! In this position, you will learn all aspects of equipment installation, troubleshooting and layout of automotive dealerships, municipal facilities, local shops and manufacturers.

We don’t ask that you have prior experience, just the ability to learn. You will work with experienced field technicians until you have the experience and training to lead a crew of you own. After your initial training period, you will have the ability to attend multiple manufacture training facilities, obtaining certifications which will follow you for life. You will interact with business owners, technicians, dealer principals and more. Training, tools, and job security will be provided. This isn’t a job, it’s the opportunity to have a career.

Located outside Portland, we sell and service only the best automotive equipment systems found in automotive dealerships, repair shops and public works departments. Our clients are long-time friends, so excellent relationship skills are a must. The company is experiencing a dynamic expansion and will expand further going forward. However, we are locally owned, and very family oriented.

Requirements:

· Field Service Technician Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

· Reliable transportation to the office

· Ability to learn

· Willing to work overtime when necessary

Responsibilities

• The ability to work in a team
• Learn the various mechanical systems - Air piping, Oil pumps and distribution line, Automotive lifts and other systems utilized in a garage setting
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery (equipment and systems in an automotive/HD garage) and equipment in the field.
• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used through .
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while operating equipment and working on-site.
• Be able to learn how to run your own field crew

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $32.31 per hour
