Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Technician / GM / Supervisor role to oversee operations within our repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in automotive maintenance and repair. A well rounded individual is needed that can diagnose the most complex automotive issues, effectively communicate to customers, understands the entire business process and help fellow employees learn to do the same.
This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to analyze complex problems and situations while guiding a team towards achieving operational excellence all while escalating the business.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations within the repair facility, ensuring adherence to safety and quality control standards.
- Utilize Alldata for labor guides, and cross reference employee actual times and computerized billing for tracking work orders.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support in the use of tools and diagnostics when needed.
- Analyze schematics & troubleshoot moduled electronics issues effectively.
- Fabricate necessary components or modifications to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with service advisors, vendors, wholesale accounts, dealerships technicians and occasionally clients to ensure seamless workflow and communication.
- Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment as needed to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and employee performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an automotive maintenance role, with a strong understanding of the complete process.
- Proficiency in using Windows and work order software for management or RO's.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to troubleshoot complex automotive issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory; leadership potential will be considered.
- A commitment to being addiction free of everything harder than a morning coffee.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year
