Summary of Responsibility
Keep the Plant neat and Tiddy: such as Sweeping, Mopping, Trash Removal, Keep Restrooms Clean, Keeping the Plant floor swept and Mopped, Mop the Clean rooms Daily, Vacuum Offices in the plant Daily.
Job Description
To complete the cleaning of the plant on a Daily basis. Such as Mopping, Sweeping, Trash Removal, Vacuuming the offices and conference room in the plant Daily, sweep and Mop the plant floor Daily, ensure that the restrooms are clean and Tiddy and serviced Daily per shift, ensure the Break areas are clean per shift, ensure that both canteens are clean and Tiddy per shift, ensure that all trash and debris is picked and disposed of Daily, clean all applicable windows Biweekly, ensure that our work enviorment is as clean as possible Mon-Fri.
Health & Safety
- Ensure all safety and non-safety plant rules and regulations are followed.
- Ensure adherence to established housekeeping standards (5S).
- Respond immediately to items brought to his/her attention with respect to hazards, non-compliance issues.
- Adheres to DCS’s health and safety, environmental, operating procedures, policies and forms.

Communication
- Maintain proper records and backup documentation.
- Communicate to all levels of the organization.

Continuous Improvement
- Champion continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts for the department.
- Coordinate with other departments to identify, analyze and resolve problems.
- Introduce or recommend changes to work methods, aligned with IATF16949:2016 and ISO9001:2015 methodology.
- Willing and able to learn and support Continuous Improvement initiatives such as; 5S, Standardized Work, Kanban, JIT, Kaizen, and Poke-Yoke.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic custodial Knowledge
- Understanding of the proper Cleaning procedures
- Be able to follow instructions
- Previous custodial cleaning experience preferred.
- High attention to detail, cleanliness and order
- Strong communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
