The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for accurate and efficient warehouse product inventory control. This includes accurate and timely cycle counting and placement of product lines as needed.
JOB DUTIES :
- Creates and completes daily pre-determined cycle count sheets and forwards completed sheets to designated individuals as determined.
- Straightens product and checks over stock for correct quantities and locations of upcoming product lines previous to cycle counting; restrings product lines, checks upcoming line codes for correct zone / aisle / bin locations, double checks quantity changes made on the a.m. recount and locates new product.
- Scans stock and special-order parts from one tote to another making sure the totes are not over 50 lbs.
- Creates a list of product lines to cycle count by using a vendor return schedule on a monthly basis
- Coordinates with the front office and warehouse manager to obtain accurate information on both the outgoing and incoming product lines, making any inventory adjustments as needed; will look forward and plan for upcoming vendor change overs or placement of new product.
