The Merchandising Assistant is responsible for assisting with store changeovers, resets, and updating operations processes and procedures that include delivery and set up services. This position also provides support with warehouse duties to include receiving, stocking and local delivery.
JOB DUTIES :
- Prepare store fixtures and needed equipment for transportation to the store location that includes assembly and straightening shelves / racks as well as display cases following the information for each store project.
- Safely and efficiently stock new product or changing products according to individual store requirements and based on company planograms.
- May lead the changeover / reset team in the absence of the Merchandising Manager.
- Responsible for stocking, organizing, and inventorying shelves, fixtures, and accessories and accurately pulling needed fixtures and accessories for store resets, changeovers, and updates based on store layout drawings / documents.
- Assist with receiving and stocking responsibilities in the warehouse as time allows.
- Provide parts delivery service to local store locations as needed.
- Assist with reboxing and liquidating excess product acquired during store conversions
- Drive company truck during product Expos from site to site and assist the marketing department as time permits
- Perform other duties as directed by Merchandising Manager.
