The Store Route Driver is responsible for pulling parts for, delivering parts to and picking up part from specific customers, other stores, and / or customer sites. The route driver is responsible for maintaining the company vehicle they use and documenting any issues with vehicle maintenance following company procedures. The store route driver may assist in maintaining store appearance, security, safety and daily operational standards as set and assigned by the store manager.
JOB DUTIES :
- Ensure accurate, safe and timely delivery and pick-up of product on the route
- Pick up and deliver parts to customers
- Pick up and drop off freight at sister stores
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain the company vehicle by periodic washing, keeping the interior clean and organized and by checking engine fluid levels as required
