Position: Facilities Maintenance Specialist
Location: Chesterfield, MO
Reports to: Administrative Manager
About Us:
Automotive Product Consultants (APC) provides an array of services in the automotive industry. Our core service, the APC Follow-Up Program, is a proven system that provides dealerships with a second opportunity to sell sales and service customers F&I products after they have left the dealership.
Principal Purpose of Position:
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist for APC will be charged with the daily upkeep and cleaning of our main office building and will perform minor preventative maintenance.
Fulltime Position: Monday through Friday, Hours Vary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain office cleanliness, including daily cleaning of floors, conference and meeting rooms, offices, trash removal from all departments/offices, clean and sanitize bathrooms and break areas.
- Set up/tear down of cube(s), and cleaning vacated cubes in preparation for new hires.
- Put together and set up office furniture/equipment.
- Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in dispensers.
- Disinfect and dust furniture, equipment, and a flat surfaces.
- Clean windows (interior), windowsills, ledges, door frames/trim, baseboards.
- Ensure building exterior and grounds are picked up and clean.
- Perform minor maintenance of building (change air filters, light bulb, paint touch up, wall repair, etc.)
- Report maintenance needs and repairs to supervisor.
- Operate manual and power janitorial equipment.
- Perform deep cleanings bi-annually of full facility.
- Stock custodial closets and keep orderly.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
Commercial cleaning requires extensive walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs), stretching, pushing and pulling. In addition to stooping, kneeling or crouching; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; talking and hearing.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
