About Us:
Automotive Product Consultants (APC) provides an array of services in the automotive industry and other industries. Our core service, the APC Follow-Up Program, is a proven system that provides dealerships with a second opportunity to sell sales and service customers F&I products after they have left the dealership.
Principal Purpose of Position:
At APC, we are a little different from other call centers as all of our marketing is branded. We have relationships with over 3,000 different dealers and a handful of auto manufacturers that we market on behalf on. As a sales rep you will be answering inbound sales call from branded marketing and making outbound calls to follow up with these leads.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer inbound sales calls: Manage a high volume of inbound calls, exceeding 40 plus calls per day, while maintaining professionalism and providing excellent customer service.
Make follow-up sales calls: Conduct follow-up calls to customers who have shown interest in products or services, aiming to convert leads into sales
Ensure all policies and procedures are maintained and implemented: Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all sales interactions to maintain high standards of service
Recommend and share successful sales approaches with co-workers and management to add to the success of the entire company: Collaborate with colleagues and management to share successful sales strategies and techniques, contributing to the overall success of the sales team and the company.
Strive to increase rapport with customers: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to enhance the sales experience and increase customer loyalty
Basic data entry and documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inbound customer calls, including customer information, inquiries, and outcomes, to track sales performance and improve future interactions
Qualifications:
Preferably 1 year of call center, previous service contract sales or insurance sales experience required
Ability to effectively communicate with customers over the phone, convey product information, and address customer inquiries and concerns
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with experience in outbound or inbound sales.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide a positive customer service.
Ability to accurately enter and document customer information and sales transactions
Ability to adapt to different customer interactions and sales scenarios, i.e., handle objections, resolve problems, customer inquiries
Proficiency in basic data entry and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software or similar systems
Highly driven to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a focus on driving revenue for the company
