Position: Temporary Receptionist
Location: Chesterfield - On-Site - Part-time
Reports to: Sales Support Manager
About Us:
Automotive Product Consultants (APC) provides an array of services in the automotive industry and other industries. Our core service, the APC Follow-Up Program, is a proven system that provides dealerships with a second opportunity to sell sales and service customers F&I products after they have left the dealership.
Principal Purpose of Position:
The Temporary Receptionist is the first to exhibit APC’s culture, professionalism, and quality of service. They are responsible for answering and transferring a very high volume of incoming calls from all over the United States.
This is a temporary, part-time, Monday through Friday position with the hours of 7am – 11am (more hours if desired).
Position is expected to be in the office
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer high-volume calls
- Greet all incoming visitors in a friendly manner
- Ensure all guests sign in and out
- Distribute mail
- Schedule meeting rooms
- Filing and data entry
- Light administrative work
- Deliver exceptional employee satisfaction by providing essential information to those who require information and inquire within
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One plus year of switchboard experience preferred
- Receptionist or Customer Service experience preferred but not necessary
- Effective oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers and employees
- Proficient with MS Outlook and MS Word
- Able to work in a fast- paced environment
- Able to multi-task

There is no travel required in this position
