A successful new car dealership in the New London, CT area is seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead its high-performing service department. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader who excels at training and developing service advisors , holding their team accountable, and driving exceptional customer satisfaction (CSI). Must be process-oriented and someone who leads by example. Experience at a domestic dealership is a plus, but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to service advisors, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily operations of a busy service department to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with a strong team of skilled technicians to maintain excellent production levels and ensure repair quality.
- Drive a superior customer experience by maintaining high CSI scores and resolving customer concerns effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance profitability and department performance.
- Develop and maintain streamlined processes to maximize department efficiency while providing top-notch service.
