Automotive Service Advisor - Family Owned Independent Shop

Job Overview
Family owned auto repair facility is recruiting an EXPERIENCED Automotive Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the service department operations, ensuring excellent customer service is their experience. Has a track record of taking a small operation and scaling to larger operation and requires minimal supervision to ensure the team's success. Must have at least 5years experience in this position.

Duties
- Lead a team of service technicians
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections
- Provide accurate auto estimating for services
- Ensure high-quality automotive service delivery
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism
- Suspend service when necessary for additional approvals
- Collaborate with the sales team on automotive service recommendations
- Oversee all repairs, and other maintenance services

Experience
Required Skills:
- Strong background in automotive service advising including scaling small struggling shops to larger successful business
- Proficiency in customer service and conflict resolution
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in dealership or high volume independent shop environments
- Familiarity with auto repair sales operations
