Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Assistant Account Manager to join our team at Automotive Tier 1. In this role, you will assist the Account Manager with assigned tasks, ensuring seamless collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Create and submit quotations for new business opportunities.
- Manage quotation activities, including prototype and trial orders.
- Collaborate on special projects and handle miscellaneous customer requests.
- Analyze customer purchase orders to ensure consistency with proposals and requirements.
- Summarize parts list and sales forecast for current and future models.
- Coordinate design changes with Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, and PC teams.
- Review packaging specifications and provide accurate quotes.
- Support Vendor Tooling audits with Sales and Tooling Engineering teams.
- Maintain profit levels in accordance with corporate guidelines to recover costs for all quotations.
- Cross-functionally collaborate with other internal departments.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (4-year) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Experience and Training Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
PREFERRED: Manufacturing experience through Co-Op or Internship.
Fundamental understanding of international business, sales, and supply chain.
Skills/Language(s) & Travel Requirements:
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Some domestic travel required (approximately 5-10%).
