Role Overview As an Account Executive , you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with municipalities, airports, and commercial partners. You will work closely with prospective clients to understand their mobility and operational challenges and position Automotus as the go-to solution for curb management automation. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. Salary : $75,000-90,000 Key Responsibilities Prospect & Qualify Leads – Identify, research, and engage potential clients, including city agencies, airports, and fleet operators. Lead the Full Sales Cycle – Own the entire sales process from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing. Build & Manage Relationships – Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including city officials, transportation planners, and private-sector executives. Understand Client Needs – Conduct discovery meetings to identify pain points and tailor solutions that align with client objectives. Deliver Persuasive Presentations – Conduct compelling product demos and presentations that showcase the value of Automotus’ curb management solutions. Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align solutions with market needs and ensure a seamless customer experience. Meet & Exceed Sales Goals – Achieve and surpass revenue targets by consistently closing deals and expanding client partnerships. Stay Informed – Keep up with industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings to position Automotus effectively in the marketplace. What we are looking for Required : 3 years of experience in B2G sales experience, preferring experience selling mobility, transportation, parking or law enforcement solutions to government. Proven track record of closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders. Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to tailor solutions to client needs. Experience selling to government agencies, municipalities, or large enterprises . Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills . Ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate public-sector procurement processes. Self-starter with a growth mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Ability to travel for conferences, client meetings, and industry events. Preferred : Experience in urban mobility, transportation technology, or smart city solutions . Familiarity with curb management, fleet operations, or parking enforcement . Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce . Knowledge of public-private partnerships and city procurement .
