Engineering Manager
United States - Aiken
Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for providing project management for all new model launches and capital projects, utilizing technical skills to troubleshoot facility and production issues.
- Responsible for performance of the Engineering and Maintenance Departments as the plant’s senior technical manager.
- Responsible for Building Structure, Grounds, Compressors, HVAC, Utilities, Waste Hauling, Environmental waste systems, Fire Suppression, Dust Collector, Bag House, assets (maximize life cycle).
- Ensure Engineers’ project workload for process improvements is in alignment with Plants goals and objectives ensuring associated spending is within budget.
- Manages the Engineering Drawing room to ensure drawings, schematics, and tech manuals are in an organized controlled room.
- Project manage all new model launches from award of business to SOP.
- Manage all capital projects related to area of responsibility including justifications and capital request (OA).
- Assist with all capital projects and OA requests.
- Manage a minimum of two (2) CI projects throughout the year (reporting out as required).
- Responsible for reviewing and updating annually equipment asset list.
