About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to ensure the long-term performance and dependability of our autonomous systems and components. In this role, you will develop and implement reliability testing, conduct failure analysis, and recommend design improvements to enhance the durability, safety, and lifespan of products in real-world environments. You will collaborate with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to proactively identify risks and implement solutions that minimize failures and maximize system efficiency.
Your Impact
As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in improving the overall success and functionality of our autonomous solutions by ensuring they operate reliably in the most demanding conditions. Your work will directly influence product quality, enhance safety, reduce downtime, and optimize system lifecycles-helping ASI maintain its reputation for delivering dependable, high-performance solutions across diverse industries.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute reliability testing plans for mechanical, electrical, and software components.
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA), and stress tests to identify and mitigate potential design issues.
- Collaborate with product development teams to incorporate reliability standards early in the design process.
- Perform accelerated life testing (ALT), Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), and environmental testing to simulate real-world conditions.
- Analyze test data and recommend improvements in materials, design, and processes to enhance product reliability.
- Track key reliability metrics, generate reports, and propose continuous improvement initiatives based on failure analysis findings.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies to ensure long-term product performance.
Who We Are Looking For
