About the Role

ASI is hiring Technical Trainers at Levels I-IV to deliver high-quality training programs to external customers, ensuring they can effectively understand and utilize our technology solutions. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, instructional design, and customer interaction skills to develop, deliver, and refine training programs.

  • Technical Trainer I focuses on assisting with training content development and supporting training sessions.
  • Technical Trainer II delivers standardized training programs and provides customer support post-training.
  • Technical Trainer III leads customized training sessions, enhances training methodologies, and works cross-functionally to optimize training effectiveness.
  • Technical Trainer IV oversees training strategy, ensures scalability, and mentors other trainers.

This role is hybrid with some onsite training required at our Fort Worth, Texas facility. Travel requirements vary by level.

Job Duties

Training Development & Content Creation

  • Design, develop, and maintain training materials using Paylocity's LMS and documentation platforms like Zendesk.
  • Create user guides, video tutorials, and instructional resources tailored to various audiences.
  • Ensure all training materials align with ASI's evolving technology and customer needs.
  • Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions for external customers and internal teams.
  • Provide hands-on training with ASI's automation technology in sandbox environments.
  • Customize training content based on industry-specific use cases.
  • Customer Engagement & Support

  • Act as a technical resource post-training, answering follow-up questions and ensuring knowledge retention.
  • Gather feedback from customers to improve training effectiveness and drive product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify gaps in customer knowledge and address them proactively.
  • Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives (Levels III-IV)

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, analytics, and customer feedback.
  • Implement new learning methodologies to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Lead train-the-trainer initiatives and mentor junior trainers.
  • Requirements by Level

    Technical Trainer I

  • 1 years of experience in training, technical support, or a related field.
  • Basic experience with LMS platforms, documentation tools, and video editing software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical Trainer II (Includes Level I Requirements )

  • 3 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or customer education.
  • Experience developing training content using Paylocity LMS, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable leading small group training sessions.
  • Technical Trainer III (Includes Level II Requirements )

  • 5 years of experience in training development and delivery.
  • Proven ability to customize training for different industries and audiences.
  • Experience conducting training effectiveness assessments and driving improvements.
  • Ability to handle complex technical concepts and simplify them for end-users.
  • Technical Trainer IV (Includes Level III Requirements )

  • 7 years of experience leading technical training programs.
  • Strong background in learning strategy, process improvement, and mentoring trainers.
  • Ability to drive company-wide training initiatives and scale programs for global customers.
  • Travel Requirements

  • Technical Trainer I : 10-20% travel for customer trainings.
  • Technical Trainer II : 20-30% travel for training deployments.
  • Technical Trainer III : 30-40% travel for customized training sessions.
  • Technical Trainer IV : 40-50% travel for strategic training initiatives and leadership responsibilities.
