Autonomy Staffing is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to join our clients advanced manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring smooth production operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding and automation equipment.

- Operate and maintain injection molding and automation equipment to meet production goals.
- Set up, monitor, and control injection molding machines, including resin drying, hot runners, molds, and fluid temperature control systems.
- Lead execution of the production schedule in a highly automated environment.
- Maintain controlled areas and oversee environmental monitoring in the injection molding production process.
- Actively participate in event response activities and troubleshooting efforts.
- Assist with equipment maintenance, including mold restoration, robot end-of-arm tool maintenance, and preventative measures.
- Document production operations and event responses accurately in SAP.
- Support system and equipment reliability improvement projects.
- Ensure all safety and environmental protocols are followed.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (AAS degree in a related field preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in injection molding.
- Hands-on experience with crane operation, pneumatic actuators, electro-mechanical controls, robotics, and sensor systems.
- At least 2 years of direct experience in injection molding operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to participate in systematic root cause analysis.
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment (medical, pharmaceutical, food industries).
- Familiarity with automated record systems such as SPC, MES, EWM, or SAP.
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Strong organizational and execution skills, including work planning and performance tracking.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods (up to 12-hour shifts).
- Working in environments with loud noise, hazardous materials, and confined spaces.
