The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing surfaces for painting and coating by effectively operating sandblasting equipment and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean, smooth, and prepare metal surfaces.
Ensure proper maintenance and safety checks on sandblasting machinery.
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and equipment as needed.
Assist with other production tasks as required, including surface preparation for painting.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in sandblasting or surface preparation is required.
Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift (certification preferred).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Familiarity with safety procedures related to industrial manufacturing.
Manufacturing painting experience is a plus and may result in higher pay.
