The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who leans frontend, loves clean UI, and thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. If you enjoy bringing designs to life, care deeply about user experience, and can also dip into backend work when needed—we’d love to meet you. This is a hands-on, highly impactful role in a fast-paced, engineering- and product-focused company.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build, ship, and own high-quality frontend experiences using React (hooks, context, component design patterns).
- 90% frontend work, occasionally 10%> backend work.
- Collaborate closely with product and design to bring intuitive UIs to life.
- Write clean, maintainable code—on both the frontend and backend.
- Work with modern backend stacks (Node.js, serverless, etc.) to support the frontend.
- Help shape our architecture and engineering best practices as we scale.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of professional experience as a fullstack or frontend engineer, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong experience with React and frontend development (think animations, responsiveness, state management, accessibility).
- Experience with REST APIs (or GraphQL), modern JS/TS, and common tooling (Webpack/Vite, testing frameworks).
- A product mindset—you think about the user and how to solve real problems.
- Bonus: Experience with design systems, analytics, performance optimization, or backend infra.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Fintech, particularly with integrations involving platforms like Robinhood, Stripe, Plaid, or similar platforms/apps.
- Proficiency in full stack development; comfortable jumping into backend code if needed.
- Proficiency in TypeScript for backend development (open to other languages).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in distributed systems, API integration, and cloud-hosted applications.
- Passion for building user-centered solutions and delivering impact.
- A self-starter mentality with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with some of these backend tech stacks: node.js, typescript, graphql, nest.js, gcp, google pubsub, postgres sql, etc.
Benefits:
- Benefits: Generous UNLIMITED PTO (and we mean it!).
- Mandated two-week holiday shutdown at the end of the year for Christmas and New Year’s company holidays.
- Autopilot covers 99% of premiums for employee and dependent benefits (health, dental, vision).
- Top-of-the-line equipment: laptops, external monitors, standing desks, etc.
- Access to a beautiful WeWork office in Irvine Spectrum:
- Unlimited nitro cold brew and weekly office events.
- Free monthly parking pass.
- Onsite gym.
- Shared communal space/office with other thriving companies and startups.
- Walkable access to a variety of restaurants and amenities.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
