- Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems that power our trading platform and integrate with major U.S. brokerages.
- Lead the development of our pilot portal, enabling seamless user interactions for data input, persistence, and broker integration.
- Reverse-engineer undocumented APIs and implement distributed systems that scale as we grow.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
- Drive impact in a hands-on capacity, directly contributing to a rapidly growing and innovative company.
- 3-6 years of professional experience as a backend engineer, ideally in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for backend development.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in distributed systems, API integration, and cloud-hosted applications.
- Proven track record of building and scaling backend systems to support rapid growth.
- Experience in Fintech , particularly with integrations involving platforms like Robinhood, Stripe, Plaid, or similar platforms / apps.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or other cloud infrastructure.
- Passion for building user-centered solutions and delivering impact.
- A self-starter mentality with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with some of these backend tech stacks : node.js, typescript, graphql, nest.js, gcp, google pubsub, postgres sql, etc.
- Compensation : $160,000 - $215,000 base salary bonus equity. Compensation varies depending on location, interview performance, and leveling.
