AutoPort, Inc. is seeking a detail hardworking, reliable Truck Modification Technician to join our team at our New Castle, DE location! This person will assemble, customize, and modify trucks to meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install custom bodies for trucks according to specifications using hand tools and power tools.
- Weld materials according to requirements listed.
- Read and interpret orders and specification assigned to job.
- Install a variety of liftgates, walk ramps, bumpers, and platforms.
- Test and inspect assemble products to ensure accuracy.
- Other duties assigned.
- 2-3 years prior auto experience as autobody technician.
- Must have ability to frequently stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Requires lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Must have ability to operate hand power tools.
- Must maintain clean and safe work area.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
