Inside Sales Key Account Representative

An individual responsible for leading the Autoquip team in completing projects set by a timeline and adhering to business initiatives. Taking the lead to communicate the project timeline to customers from inception to commissioning. May maintain and manage customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact to ensure all teams remain in sync. Provide complete customer support, both reseller and end-user. Manage customer projects from inception to completion.

○ Support internal and external customer contacts

○ Occasional travel to customer facilities, end-user facilities, or on-site support may be required. Recruit team support as needed for application review, status, and commissioning.

• Represent the Company: The inside salesperson represents Autoquip to customers professionally, honestly, and honorably. Work closely with customers and their customers.

○ Provide a project status report in a Gantt chart for regular review with the customer

• Internal Company Communication: The inside salesperson works closely with outside sales, engineering, and manufacturing.

○ Clearly communicate expectations to team members for project success

○ Develop FAT timelines and test requirements

○ Monitor, manage, and direct project quality from quote to installation

○ Facilitate progression, review, and status meetings

○ Maintain system records for transactions, communications, and document support

○ Provide costing methods, standards, and procedures for success and profitability

○ Ensure completion of all documentation from SOW, RFQ, Quote, Order, Specifications, Drawings, Manuals, Installation guides, Quality, Testing, COC, and parts list

○ Monitor and report costing with margin support while directing the project toward target expectations and develop a summary with future improvement directives

○ Provide a project presentation upon completion along with a case study for internal and social media sharing

• Direct the Organization to Exceed Customer Expectations:

○ Provide open communication for unforeseen issues or setbacks and present resolutions to customers

○ Provide feedback to all parties involved in the project

○ Establish and produce SOO as it applies to the application

• Project Assignment:

○ Projects will be tasked as directed

○ Portions of the project can be re-tasked to others based on availability and skill set in support of the timeline and deliverables

○ Create Help Desk cases as needed, monitor progression, resolution, and follow up with customers

Requirements:

• Customer Orientation: The inside sales professional must have a personality, attitude, and people skills to build relationships with Autoquip's key customers to achieve short and long-term results.

• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with customers verbally and in writing.

• Organization Skills: The inside sales professional must be able to manage time while working on multiple quotations and orders, responding to customer needs, internal, and external.

• Technical Sales: Autoquip's products are technical in nature and sold into industrial settings, involving a level of technical understanding and capacity. Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical information and communicate this to customers.

• Project Management Skills and Experience: Ability to manage projects of size and length with many moving parts.

• Contract Review and Understanding: Ability to review contracts for acceptance or providing exceptions and alternatives.

• Accounting Skills: Understanding of Bonds, Terms, Waivers

• Ability to manage projects in MS Project with Excel skills to support customers

• Project tracking and documentation through MS OneNote and meetings through MS Teams

• Experience in Project Management is necessary

• Business or Engineering Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Experience in either is required.

• Business Systems such as Epicor or equivalent preferred

• Knowledge of MS Office Products

• Innovative and creativity with the ability to provide conceptual presentations using SolidWorks preferred
