Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to support our Salesforce DevOps product. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the product's overall user experience, collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams to craft user-centric designs for complex, technical domains.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead UX Design: Own the end-to-end user experience for our Salesforce DevOps product, ensuring it is intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with the product vision.
• Prototyping & Design: Create high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in Figma that can be directly leveraged by the development team for implementation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Management team to think through problems, iterate on design solutions, and rapidly prototype features to address product needs.
• Developer Guidance: Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure they fully understand design intent and guide them in building interfaces that offer an excellent user experience.
• Problem-Solving: Spend significant time understanding current product limitations, researching user feedback, and crafting solutions that improve usability and user satisfaction.
• Design Advocacy: Advocate for UX best practices within the team and push for a user-first approach in every aspect of product development.
• Complex Domain Expertise: Design for a complex, technical product, ideally with awareness of DevOps processes and technologies (knowledge of DevOps is beneficial but not mandatory).
• Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5 years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma.
• Proven experience working on complex and technical products, especially within technical or enterprise software domains.
• Ability to create intuitive and efficient designs that address user pain points and enhance ease of use.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally with product managers and developers.
• Demonstrated ability to understand user needs, product goals, and technical limitations to create practical and scalable UX solutions.
• Experience in guiding frontend developers and ensuring the integrity of UX through the development process.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or DevOps is a plus, but not required.

Education and Qualification
