Job Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.  
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.
  • Understand and communicate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
  • Ensure proper technical documentation.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including project team members, management, and clients.  
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Budget and Resource Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts.
  • Track project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Allocate and manage project resources effectively.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce quality control processes.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and identify areas for improvement.
• Agile/Waterfall Methodologies:
  • Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) based on project requirements.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives (if applicable).
• Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.  
  • Experience managing software development, infrastructure, or other technical projects.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Java stack technologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).
  • Ability to understand technical documentation, and communicate technical concepts.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• PMP, Agile (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe), lean or other relevant certifications will be an advantage.
