AUTOSMART – ROUTE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Autosmart is looking for the right candidate to join our expanding sales team here in the USA. We have route sales trucks in six states on the east coast.

Autosmart International is the European trade’s favorite supplier of vehicle cleaning products in 22 countries worldwide. Established in the United Kingdom in 1979 we have been growing ever since due to the high quality and performance of our products that our customers around the world love to use.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and distributing Autosmart’s high quality line of automotive detailing products to the trade - to both new and existing customers.

Our Route Sales Representatives drive trucks with a custom-built box which is their showroom. We require a PennDOT physical certification which we will guide the successful applicants through.

The Route Sales Representative position is physical. We work in most weather conditions, with exceptions for snow days. The hours are 7.30am to 5-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

The pay is rewarding at $50K base salary. In addition, we have a generous commission scheme – we pay for performance! We would expect you to earn $65K plus in your first year. That figure will depend on you. Potential for further growth is available and expected. We want you to succeed, it is a team effort.

• Who have a strong work ethic, accurately reporting usage of time, and proudly representing the company high standard to our customers and the public.
• Who are ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic - ready to make a difference.
• Who are self-motivated and goal oriented - able to manage time and route planning for efficiency.
• Who are physically able to lift containers occasionally weighing up to 50 lbs. (5-gallon products) and able to climb in and out of the truck, push, pull and bend easily.
• Who are detail oriented and customer focused – accurate in record keeping, completing daily paperwork.
• Who will Recognize customers’ needs before they do and use that as an opportunity to sell.
• Who can communicate effectively, being able to build professional, lasting relationships with clients (from detailers to General Managers) and with other Autosmart team members.

SOME SALES EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. NO QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY.

Experience in automotive sales / automotive marketing / customer service / automotive detailing / route sales (any industry) would be useful.

Applicants must have a full, valid, clean driver’s license. No previous DUI’s.
