Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with a strong background in auto body repair techniques.
Responsibilities
Our Paint lines are: Spies Hecker Permacorn, and Sherwin Williams Ultra 7000
Color Mixing: Selecting and mixing paint colors to match original colors or create custom colors
Paint Application: Applying coats of primer, paint, and clear coat to vehicles, ensuring even and free of runs or sags
Quality Control: Inspecting painted surfaces for imperfections and making necessary touch-ups or corrections.
Polishing and Buffing: Polishing and buffing painted surfaces to achieve a smooth and glossy finish.
- Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal,
- Utilize power tools and equipment for buffing, sanding, and painting vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine necessary repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto body repair or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment specific to auto body work.
- Familiarity with auto painting techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
