AutoStar has an immediate opening for an experienced Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel Technician. Come join one of the busiest shops in Western North Carolina! * Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Job Requirements:
- Able to diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and braking.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be quick to learn
- Valid driver's license with good driving history
- Able to work as part of a team
- Must own tools
* Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel Technician Skills/Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of automotive/medium duty and diesel technician experience with dealership experience preferred
- Need to identify customer concerns quickly
- Able to learn new automotive/medium duty technology; automotive/medium duty repair & service procedures & specifications
- A strong knowledge base of light and medium-duty gas and diesel vehicles
