What are the responsibilities and job description for the Figma UI/UX designer position at Autous?
Overview
We are seeking an individual strong in figma design to utilize a UI Kit and create a Design System and wireframes implementing that Design System for our ambitious automotive start up. Any experience in React javascript or working with developers utilizing that technology will be greatly appreciated but is not required.
Duties
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma based on the team's site map
- Collaborate with developers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
- Create visually appealing UI elements while adhering to web accessibility and SEO standards to ensure inclusivity for all users and optimizing website priority in search engines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to UX/UI design.
- Test designs through usability testing sessions, gathering feedback, and iterating on designs based on user input.
- Work with the team to understand and obtain user data to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Figma and an eye for design.
- Strong skills in wireframing and prototyping tools.***
- Experience with UI design principles and best practices for web and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards to create inclusive digital experiences.
- A portfolio showcasing your design process, projects, and outcomes is required for consideration.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $47.00 - $100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
