Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our Nashville team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with precision. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform auto body repairs, including frame straightening, panel replacement, and welding.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
  • Conduct auto glass replacements and repairs with attention to detail.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer as necessary.
  • Execute auto painting tasks with precision to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Experience in auto restoration projects is a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as required for repairs.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Knowledge of auto glass repair techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
