What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive and Light Duty Diesel Technician position at Autoxtend?
Busy full-service independent automotive repair shop looking for the right person to be part of a team of professionals dedicated to customer service. We are looking for someone who has experience in both Gasoline and Light Duty Diesel repair and maintenance. We offer Monday through Friday work week, competitive pay, paid holidays, paid vacation, uniforms, up to date diagnostic equipment, and specialty tools. An ideal candidate must have strong diagnostic skills, strong working knowledge in brake systems, alignment, computer diagnostics, engine repair, steering, suspension, cooling system, fuel system, electrical system diagnosis, and air condition. Must be able to diagnose and complete repairs in a timely manner. Must have own tools, reliable transportation, clean driving record, valid Tennessee driver’s license. ASE or other industry certifications a plus. Please send a resume for consideration. Pay is flat rate plus commission, based on experience.
Summary
As an Automotive and Light Duty Diesel Technician, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair to address a variety of mechanical issues.
