SUMMARY
The Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) ensures maximum productivity, drives commercial sales, controls expenses, shrink, and remains compliant with company procedures in accordance to AutoZone’s expectations. A CSM exceeds customer’s expectation by delivering WOW! Customer Service to all AZ Commercial accounts by Living the Pledge everyday
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates must be effective leaders with excellent communication skills, strong decision making ability, excellent selling skills, and must be able to excel in a fast paced environment. It is essential for the CSM to foster and maintain a positive environment that develops and engages their team and generates sales.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Motivates Commercial AutoZoners to provide WOW! Customer Service, enhance productivity level and market products to enhance sales and profits.
Assists commercial accounts with selecting merchandise
Assists with training and developing commercial drivers, commercial specialist, and other AutoZoners as directed by the SM or DM
Maintains billing records for commercial accounts
Visits commercial accounts and ensures accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised
Follows established cash handling duties, including but not limited to deposits, collecting on accounts, and lane accountability
Develop new accounts through face to face and telephone contact with potential customers
Utilizes ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives
Ensures all company policies, and loss prevention procedures are followed
Maintains a safe working environment while ensuring AutoZoners are implementing those practices including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
Ensure appropriate delivery documentation is generated for each delivery
Complies with safe driving rules and procedures and ensures all Commercial Zoners have approved driver status
Properly maintains vehicle(s) and takes the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues.
Follows proper accident procedures
Provide feedback regarding AutoZoner performance to the store manager
Addresses commercial customer concerns and resolves them with a goal of turning a complaint into a compliment
Processes returns and reconciles accounts
Follows proper claim procedures
Ensure all battery consignment programs are stocked and inventoried each week per policy
Ensure all stocking programs are stocked each week per policy
Communicates AutoZoner issues and concerns to the assistant store manager and/or store manager in a timely and confidential manner
Adheres to and ensures AutoZoners follow AutoZone’s dress code standards
Ability to work all the hours (of operation) that we are open for business
Ability to meet physical job aspects as listed on Essential Job Functions with or without a reasonable accommodation (listed on page 2)
Performs other related duties as required
