Qualifications:
- Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Proven classroom management skills, with experience handling classes of 10-20 students.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Language Arts, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT, OPT).
- Minimum of one year of classroom teaching experience, ideally with young students.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with other faculty and staff.
- A natural storyteller with the ability to engage students and bring language to life.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Language Arts curriculum that aligns with the school’s requirements.
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and storytelling among students.
- Guide students in crafting and presenting their stories, enhancing their narrative skills.
- Prepare and execute both in-class and outdoor activities that enhance language learning.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and grades.
- Offer individualized instruction through interactive and engaging learning strategies.
- Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, focusing on creative and narrative-driven approaches.
- Engage in school events, building positive relationships with students and parents.
- Communicate effectively with parents, offering regular updates on their child’s progress.
- Contribute to business goals by enhancing student engagement and supporting retention.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree holder with at least 1 years of teaching experience, particularly in Language Arts.
- Empathy and strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with both parents and children.
- Experience in managing students and fostering a creative, positive learning environment.
- A passion for storytelling and the ability to inspire students to express themselves through narrative.
