We are hiring personable and motivated Sales Consultants. The Consultant is responsible for selling new and used vehicles while achieving and maintaining appropriate levels of gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction.
Automotive Sales Consultant Pay is commission based with a base salary available. Average of $50,000 - $$65,000 the first year. Potential $80,000 - $100,000 with experience and building clientele.

Automotive Sales Consultant Duties include:
- Assisting customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Understanding the terminology of the automobile business and keeping abreast of changes in product technology, incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc.
- Providing thorough product information and demonstration to all prospects.
- Offering test drives to all prospects. Following procedure to obtain proper identification from the customer before the test drive begins.
- Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
- Delivering vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Maintaining an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
Automotive Sales Consultants Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License. Insurable driving record.
- Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills.
- This position requires frequent walking, standing, and sitting as well as working indoors and outdoors in varying climate conditions.
- At least one year of sales or vehicle sales experience is preferred.
- Courteous, effective, and professional communication with customers and staff is required.
