Essential Functions
Works with Regional Compliance Nurse, ensuring that the community is a positive choice for seniors in the area. Work under the supervision of Directors of Nursing (DON) when filling-in as a charge nurse. Work well with all departments staff to promote outstanding community operations in alignment with goals, resident needs, regulatory guidelines, and resident needs.
Conduct on-boarding and hand on training of Resident Assistants and Housekeeping staff under the supervision of the Regional Compliance Nurse to the satisfaction of DON.
Assist Regional Compliance Nure with monthly audit of nursing systems, document items reviewed and conclude on compliance with documentation guidelines. Provide completed reports to Regional compliance Nurse.
Assist Regional Compliance Nurse and DON with implementation of corrective action plan.
On assigned weekends, assume duties of weekend manager, ensuring that all staff in the building are adhering to their assigned responsibilities and work assignments. Handle any call out and if short-staffed assume work assignments to ensure residents receive all the required care. Complete weekend manager report to be provided to Regional Compliance Nurse & DON on the following Monday,

Qualifications
- Active and in good standing Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse active and in good standing in the State of TN.
- Supervisory experience in Health Care setting.
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of Nursing.
- Understand Autumn Care Policy and Procedures and Employee Manual.
- Ability to supervise people effectively.
Computer literate.
