Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, we are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to ensure that our inventory is accurately stocked and stored. The ideal candidate will manage inventory processes, perform quality checks, and maintain precise records to support our maintenance operations. This position requires effective communication skills, both internally and externally, good organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities :
- Ordering and Receiving : Order inventory from vendors and suppliers. Secure shipment arrival times to ensure timely restocking.
- Inventory Management : Stock and catalog products accurately. Research and order parts / tools from vendors or OEMs.
- Quality Control : Perform quality checks on stored inventory. Discard inventory that does not meet company standards.
- Record Keeping : Update inventory counts and maintain records on the maintenance CMMS. Research and verify the accuracy of product details and specifications.
- Cost Management : Obtain estimates and price details from different vendors. Compare costs to ensure the best value for the company.
