Responsibilities for Admissions Coordinator :

Obtains applicant information by requesting completed applications and medical information, verifying and clarifying information, interviewing patients and family members, and explaining admissions criteria

Manages the onboarding of patients

Checks patients into the system as they arrive

Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Admissions Coordinator :

Must have at least 2 years experience in long term care

Must have prior experience as an Admissions Coordinator in long term care

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven leadership and management skills
